Serve by Giving

 

Summer for kids is filled with fun activities like

Sports Camp, VBS and Girls/Boys Camp.

 Many families have been hit hard by the economy and can’t afford these activities.  We don’t want any child

to be left out because of finances.

If you would like to donate towards a scholarship fund

to help these families, let us know with an email

and we will help set that up for you.

Guest Services

You serve during the service you normally attend. 

You remain at most areas about 15-20 minutes into the service.  Serving 1-2 times a month.

Great for all ages from Junior High on up.

 

Greeters—1st service

    Help our guests and regular attenders

feel welcome with a great

    smile and handshake.

 

Host/Hostess—1st service

Greet people and be available to

help our guests find children’s

Sunday School and other areas of the church.

 

Gym Greeters—1st service / 2nd service

Help those taking their children to classes

feel welcome with a smile and a handshake.

Also, assist guests to find appropriate classes.

 

Usher—1st service / 2nd service

Greet people as they enter the Sanctuary,

provide bulletin and help find seating.  Assist in taking the offering and serving communion

on the 1st Sunday of the month.

 

Parking—1st service / 2nd service

Provide the first line of greeting as people enter

PNC’s parking lot.

Direct guests to empty parking spaces, provide escorts with umbrellas in inclement weather.

Direct guests into Sanctuary

or Gym for children’s classes.

Provide security presence during services.

Assist with flat tires and dead batteries with portable generator.

PrimeTime

 

*  Clean up after events such as Welcome Lunch,

Pulse Class, Potluck, What’s Cookin, and Gospel Sing.

 * Setup and Cleanup for Memorials

*  Yard maintenance for Seniors

*  Drivers for Seniors who can no longer

drive to Church or other acitivities

*  Assist with large events
