New to PNC?

Top 10 ways to a stress-free visit:

1) What are your Sunday services like?

Purposeful worship and relevant, Biblical teaching serve as anchor points.  A weekend service might also include drama, video, dance and other art forms.

2) What time are the services?

We have 2 services on Sunday – 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.  We sing hymns for 10 minutes beginning at 8:50 a.m. for those who enjoy a little more tradition; otherwise, you’ll find the services are the same.

3) How do I get there?

We’re at 1026 7th Ave. S.W. Puyallup, WA 98371 Just a few blocks west of the Puyallup Fairgrounds.  Click here for a map and driving directions.

4)  What do I wear?

Our church community comes from a wide variety of backgrounds and this is reflected in the way we dress on Sunday.  Overall, we’re pretty casual – jeans, t-shirts, slacks, dresses – it’s all acceptable.

5)  What about parking?

We have guest parking spaces at both the front and back entrances.  There are also spaces for our disabled guests near the building at both entrances.  We have friendly parking attendants who can help direct you and answer any questions you may have.

6) Where do I go once I arrive?

·         No children? (or, if you want to keep your children with you) Go directly to the Main Building

·         Children 0 – 2 yrs. – Main Building – first floor

·         Children 3 yrs – Kindergarten – Fowler Growth Center  (Gym) – main floor

·         Children 1st – 6th grade – Fowler Growth Center (Gym) – second floor

·         Teens Jr. Hi – High School (1st service) Main Building – second floor

·         Need some caffeine?  Join us in The Commons where we have specialty coffee and other drinks for purchase.  The proceeds go towards our youth summer mission trips.

·         Ministry Information – See our Connect Table in the Main Building

·         Connection – We have parking lot attendants and host/hostesses who are ready to answer questions and help you find your way around.  Just let them know you’re a guest and they will guide you to the right place.  You can also check in with our Information Center staff in the main building and they can connect you with a host/hostess.  Host /Hostesses are also available in the gym to assist you in finding your child’s classroom.

7) Children’s Check-in.

We take caring for your children extremely seriously.  Check in happens in each classroom.  Nursery-preschool parents will be given a number that will appear on monitors to the right and left of the platform if you’re needed for any reason.

NOTE:  You are welcome to take your children into service with you.  If they get restless, you can watch the service from The Commons.  Nursing areas are located in the women’s restroom and in the nursery.

8) Getting to Know You.

While you’re in service, there will be a time when we complete our PNC Connect Cards.  We’d appreciate if you would complete one so we know that you were here.  You can drop it in the offering as it goes by or take it to the Guest Services Table in the foyer.  Don’t feel obligated to give in the offering – let this first service be our gift to you (but we will appreciate getting your Connect Card).
As a visitor, you won’t be singled out in any way.  You can remain completely anonymous if you want.  But don’t be surprised if you can’t make it out the door without people greeting you and trying to make you feel welcome and at home.

9) Communion

It is our practice to participate in Communion on the first Sunday of each month.  All born again believers are invited to partake, regardless of Church membership.

10) This is a big place.

It’s true, PNC is a big place with a ton of stuff going on all the time, but there are ways to get connected.  We have classes and small groups that meet throughout the week and hundreds of people who use their talents by volunteering.  We also have a Welcome Luncheon every other month as a way to introduce our pastors, ministries and ways to connect with others.  Click here for the schedule and to sign up.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please contact: Debe Loeber at 845-7508 ext. 205 or Email at dloeber@puyallupnazarene.org.  We hope you will join us soon.
